LaMule Cirque is a Franco-German company founded in 2016 with the aim of combining contemporary circus arts and social circus.
We are professional circus and performance artists who tour internationally with various contemporary circus companies, as well as our own productions.
We are professional circus pedagogues committed to the social circus movement.
In the past years we have set up different projects, such as “Circus Lesvos” (Greece) or “Courageous Kids – the Malawian circus school” (Malawi).
Our focus is to develop collaboration with strong local partners, as we believe that locally managed projects have a greater impact on communities.

Thanks to the financial support from "Zirkus Macht Stark," our collaboration with the German Red Cross is flourishing. We have been offering several weeks of workshops at the "initial reception centre for refugees" in Eisenhüttenstadt, as well as Wünsdorf.
Working with people on the move and at-risk populations became a major part of our activity, while performing remains the other one.
Leila is back on stage with her solo "INSIDE" (a socio-critical circus fairytale).
Tour 2023 includes: Schatzinsel, Kulturelle Landpartie, Fusion Festival, Zeit für Zirkus, etc.
Meanwhile, Thibault and Leila are in creation, working on "meer, Meer, MEER" A bilingual duo piece dedicated to the youth and the planet.
